Some years ago, I read this quote that said, “find a job you love, and you’ll never have to work again”. From that day on I tried finding stuff that I loved doing and that made me feel fulfilled.

I’ve started many projects and for some time all of them made me happy, but few months after starting them I felt like I didn’t have anything to improve or that it was not worth the effort but at last, it seems like I’ve found my passion.

I’ve loved creating stuff since I was a kid. First it was film making, then writing and now it’s creating clothes. However, it’s not the final creation what I like most about my creations, I mean, of course I love the final result but that’s not what motivates me every day to wake up and to put effort on improving. It’s all about the journey that leads to that final creation. It’s all about the designing process, the talking to suppliers… ultimately, it’s all about letting my creativity fly.

Finally, for once in my life I feel like I am doing things that I love doing, I feel fulfilled and I’ve understood that life’s not only about going to college and passing all the subjects but about finding and developing your passion and that no matter what, if you really want to do something, you’ll find a way. You’ll wake up earlier, you won’t listen to the haters that will tell you that there’s no chance of you succeeding and you’ll focus and work hard in order to achieve your objectives.

So, here’s a message to all those that may be thinking of starting their own business, with a new sport or writing. If you think that you’re going to be happier by doing so go ahead. It doesn’t matter if you succeed or not, what really matters are the moments you’ll live throughout the process and all the things that you’ll learn. Life’s about the experiences you live so if you don’t dare to do the things that will make you happy, what are you living for?

 

 

Good morning friends! First of all I want to thank you for following me on this fascinating journey that began almost 3 years ago.

The idea of creating a blog began when I was like 15 years old. However, I had fallen in love with writing many years before that. My childhood wasn’t the childhood that a kid would dream of. I was bullied at school and because of that I had to learn how to do things on my own. Although it was really hard at some stages of my life I decided to enjoy loneliness. As a consequence of this bullying I didn’t talk to almost anybody at school.

As i’ve mentioned before, when I was at school I didn’t chat with almost anyone so I started writing, I began to tell all of my problems to a small notebook I bought. It made me feel safe and I knew that the book was not going to betray me. I could tell him everything I wanted and what’s more important; everything I needed.

Years went by and I kept writing until at some point I decided to create my own blog. As every beginning it was hard. I had no idea of how to create a blog or how to post it online. I wrote on a really personal way since my goal wasn’t the blog to have many likes or to become popular but to feel released of the pain I was feeling.

From that moment on, my life has evolved so much. I’m now in college studying business and finances. Bullying is part of my past and nowadays I’m the happiest person I’ve ever been. I created my own sports brand “Mr Martin” which will be available soon with worldwide shipping. I’ve met amazing people throughout this journey and now I want all the English speaking community, to join me during this new adventure that begins today.
